Despite the focus on safety we regularly see incidents and accidents in tunnels, bridges and locks. Often when technical systems comply with the guidelines, people get the blame. Human error can be prevented by a change in the design of the workplace, work organisation and the tasks involved.

vhp human performance has developed an integrated safety analysis in collaboration with KienIA, an industrial automation company. The analysis assesses organisation, technology and employees. The integrated safety analysis is based on applicable laws and regulation, norms, standards, machinery directive and our knowledge of human factors. The analysis results in an insight into all safety risks and provides tools for investigating and preventing incidents and accidents.
